10 fun English games for children


Learning English is an important skill that can provide children with numerous benefits throughout their lives.


To help encourage your child with learning, we have created a list of 10 fun English games for you to try:


1. Pictionary

A drawing game where one player draws a picture of a word and the other players try to guess what the word is.


2. Hangman

A classic word game where one player thinks of a word and the other player tries to guess the letters in the word.


3. Word Association

A game where one player says a word and the other players have to say the first word that comes to mind.


4. Scrabble

A classic board game where players use letter tiles to create words on a game board.


5. Charades

A game where one player acts out a word or phrase and the other players try to guess what it is.


6. Word Search

A puzzle game where players try to find words hidden in a grid of letters.


7. Mad Libs

A game where players fill in the blanks of a story with random words, creating a silly and often hilarious story.


8. Storytelling

A game where one player starts a story and the other players take turns adding to it.


9. Spelling Bee

A spelling competition game where children take turns spelling words out loud.


10. Word Bingo

A classic game where players have to match words on their bingo cards to words called out by the caller.
